HOUSE OF BARBIE SHANGHAI
The Barbie brand decided to build their first every flagship store in Shanghai, China. I led the creative direction for the entire project which included managing architects and designers in New York, production in Shanghai, and executive leadership in Los Angeles. This project required monthly trips to Shanghai until project completion. Overall it was a design success winning several international awards for store innovation and design.








BEAUTY 360
CVS/pharmacy was extending their footprint by creating an entirely independent brand and store experience adjacent to the pharmacy. With a seperate entrance and store design, I was responsible for developing and implementing the brand with a team of designers, store development, operations and merchandising. The Beauty 360 store itself was a success in driving traffic and elevating the overall CVS experience. Stores with the adjacent Beauty 360 concept stores were anchored in volume suburban markets. The model was successful in growing overall CVS basket size by 17% and store traffic by almost 30%.




CVS STORE REINVENTION
As part of the store innovation leadership team, CVS wanted to evolve their format in urban areas to drive traffic and increase customer trips by integrating grocery. The stores were tested in the key markets of New York City, Atlanta, Dallas and Chicago. The stores targeted dense urban areas that had a high population of city dwellers as well as suburban commuters. My team led the store design, wayfinding, color palette, floor plan and point of purchase optimization. Customer experience surveys were positive and traffic and basket size of these test stores showed a lift of 8% to 10%.
